A modern identity with a quiet nod to cinema

Frame by Frame is a cinema club hosted at W Hotel London, a series of exclusive screenings for people who take film seriously. It needed an identity with the polish of the venue and the warmth of a room full of film lovers.

Approach

We drew on the language of cinema without leaning on cliché: a confident wordmark, editorial typography and a print-led system for programmes and invitations. The look is modern and quietly glamorous, with a nod to the timeless charm of the picture house.

Outcome

The identity gives the club a sense of occasion across every touchpoint, from the screen to the printed programme in your hands, and a flexible system that carries from one season of screenings to the next.
